Alê York

Alê York is from Rio de Janeiro, she moved to New York in 2008 to improve her English through an exchange program. She decided to live permanently in the country in 2011 and continue her studies. Graduated in Human Resources Management in Brazil, she is now a Sociologist in New York.

Alê is a Family Support Specialist. She has been working since 2012 supporting children and families to fight child abuse, malnutrition and domestic violence through education.

She is also a Mental Health First Assistant and has worked for years as an HR Director in Upstate New York, helping clients qualify for and find jobs. She conducted comprehensive assessments to understand the immediate needs of each client and connect them with available community resources. We recognize that finding a solution is not always easy; often, clients need emotional support and a strong support network.

Creator of content on Instagram and YouTube, she addresses relaxed subjects, but encourages people to practice gratitude, talks about mental health, family support, gives work tips, English and the United States.

She has been conquering her audience through her simplicity and empathy when sharing her reflections on life and her routine.

Meeting you even though it was virtually, it was very important to me. I needed someone to listen to me at a time when I felt very bad and you even in your rush, had some time. Thank you for encouraging me, for showing me the way and for never giving up on me.

Ale, I read your eBook yesterday. I went to Albany on my way back from my connection from Newark to Tampa, and I started reading your eBook on the flight. Wow, what a delight to read, very informative and inspiring. Every tip I read from MHA filled my heart with comfort and inspiration. Very good and made my flight of almost 3 hours in the blink of an eye, it was a great company! Congratulations on the work. Gratitude.
